Sea The World
We did our first "Home Exchange" this past weekend with a wonderful family in San Diego. For those of you who don't know what that is, you basically swap houses with someone else. It's a fun and inexpensive way to travel and you get to stay in the comfort of a home as opposed to a hotel. We were a bit nervous about the whole concept but it worked out wonderfully and we were able to spend a weekend in Southern California enjoying the warm weather, beaches, and Sea World. The kids really enjoyed living like So Cal people and we had a lot of fun as well. For anyone that is interested, the website is www.homeexchange.com

Jason came up with this whole face painting idea himself. We had been seeing the booths all day and then as we were leaving he said he wanted his face painted like a pirate. Totally thrown off guard by him coming up with this all on his own we agreed, and Jason was our little pirate the rest of the day. He played the roll well even down to the "arrgh's"!
