For anyone who has seen the wonderful Australian movie The Castle, you will know exactly what I mean about this quote. For those of you that haven't, here we are next to the Equator and under the flight path of the Cairns International Airport. Yes, that's right folks. Our incredible deal accomodations came with a price. Aside from the 5:55am 747 wake up call, it's been wonderful here. Cairns turns out to be a breathtaking sight of mountains, pristine rain forest, and crystal clear water. The kids are having a blast on the beaches and we are enjoying the warm, tropical weather.
